The Inverse Mission took place between June 26 and 30 and was part of the Portuguese HUB ICT Project managed by Inova-Ria and Fraunhofer Portugal with funding from Compete 2020, Portugal 2020 and the European Union.
During the event, several entities were visited, including Uartronica on June 26, PCI on June 27, Neadvance and Follow Inspiration on June 28.
This initiative brought together experts and industry leaders to discuss trends and opportunities in the area of digital and green transition, focusing on topics such as Industry 5.0, Logistics and Supply Chain and Energy Transition.
The transition to a greener and more digital future has been a global priority, as society and industry seek increasingly sustainable and digitally advanced solutions to address current challenges.
This Reverse Mission provided the sharing of knowledge, experiences, ideas, contacts, prospecting and networking between entities and companies. The Reverse Mission "Towards a Green and Digital Future" also included visits to renowned companies and institutions in the region (GNS, Altice Labs, OLI, RiaStone, Três60, Municipality of Guimarães and University of Minho), where participants had the opportunity to see first-hand how these organizations are implementing innovative solutions to drive sustainability and digital transformation.
