Parque da Sustentabilidade

Parque da Sustentabilidade is a project inserted in the Operacional Project MAIS CENTRO – Parcerias para a Regeneração Urbana (a program for partnerships in urban regeneration).
The main goal is to promote the city of Aveiro as a region of innovation and competitiveness, creating a space of renewed interest to residents and visitors. The project covers 199.106 m2 of the urban centre of the city.
Inova-Ria, in addition to be member of the park management committee, contributes designing and implementing innovative technologies to support users (residents and visitors) and to manage the dynamics of the space: civic, cultural and sports activities.
 
The intervention includes:
 
1. Development of an augmented reality and georeferencing app for mobile phones running on iOs, Android or Windows Phone operating systems;
2. Coordinate the implementation of sustainable solutions such as intelligent lighting and irrigation systems;
3. Creating promotional videos of Parque da Sustentabilidade, including an educational video and a 3D video.
